Your only job is to show up and be with your kids. I direct everything and I don't need your children to perform. actually, the sessions where a two-year-old has mini meltdown and a four-year-old is off chasing the dog are the ones that produce the images worth hanging. What I'm capturing is how your family actually loves each other, not how everyone looked when they were trying to hold it together for a camera.

You'll see your images for the very first time with our designer & receive recommendations for what what size, where it should live in your home.. and sorry, not sorry, but you are going to want EVERYTHING! She will even mock-up designs of your exact home! I love having dedicated designers on my team because you do not have to make decisions from a dropdown menu! You are working with someone with real design background to help you with everything during this virtual appointment!

Your finished prints arrive ready to hang. No assembly, no lab pickups, no trips to a frame shop. And your gorgeous heirloom album, it will live on your coffee table; not in a filing cabinet, not on a hard drive or “on the cloud” - - which means your kids can pull it out & look at it on a Tuesday afternoon when they're seven, and again when they're seventeen, and again when they're grown and trying to remember what it felt like to be little in your house.

FAQS about Family Photos

Yes! Absolutely! I have so many ideas for both outdoor and indoor location suggestions.

Will you help with Location ideas?

This is so normal, and I promise, it does not mean your session is ruined. A shy or hesitant child usually just needs a little time to decide the studio, the camera, and I are safe. I never expect kids to perform on command, and I definitely don’t need parents working overtime behind me saying “smile.”
During family sessions, I give kids space, let them warm up naturally, build trust through small wins, and use movement, snuggles, snacks, and parent connection to bring out real expressions. If your child needs a break, we take one. If they want to hide in your arms, I photograph that too, because those little nervous snuggles are often the photos that mean the most years later.
My goal is not a perfectly behaved session. My goal is to photograph your family as you really are, with warmth, patience, and a plan for the chaos. You can read my full post here
